Boat Rentals
Boat rentals will begin in 2005. We have purchased canoes and kayaks for rentals and sales. We will also have a small aluminum outboard for rent. Please contact us for information
The Great Chazy River is always calm and the current is very light. The river travels through farmland and is very unspoiled and scenic. The 5 mile trip upstream to the village of Champlain is very easy in a canoe or a small boat. The river is well known for fine bass, pike, perch, and muskie fishing.
Please note that New York state law prohibits boat speeds over 5 miles / hour within 100 ft. of shore. All of the Great Chazy River is considered a no-wake zone.
